When you say you don't pay attention to politics you're making a political decision. Sitting around and doing nothing is a political act in stating that you choose not to care. Nothing you do is ever apolitical. The word idiot comes from Ancient Greek and was used to deride people who cared only about their own lives and didn't get involved in the running of the polis. It's time to start caring.
