No, but I think he thinks you’re never returning so he’s being more of an asshole.  Why must he fidget so much at 4 am.  I’ve left the doors open so he has free reign of the house and can come in and settle down if he wants company, NOT so that he can run circles around my room and try to eat my toes.

He has food.

He has water.

He’s been outside.

Why not be as specific as possible? Still monolithic and sweeping - almost nationalist. And if nationality is irrelevant, of course it shouldn’t be included. Where it is relevant, I think DC resident, in my case, communicates more efficiently.
